Katie Noonan, founder of SCENAR Specialists, is a certified SCENAR therapist and trainer and an accomplished business woman dedicated to bringing awareness of SCENAR technology, access to RITM Scenar devices, and world-class SCENAR training to North America.

With an extensive background in business that encompasses ownership and senior management positions at several large companies over the past 25 years including her family owned agricultural and import / export operation in Mexico and stints with major firms in the United States, Katie brings an unusual and dynamic skill set to the leadership of SCENAR Specialists.

Katie's interest in SCENAR began with a simple personal problem: she is an avid golfer and in 2008 began to experience elbow pain that effectively prevented her from playing.

Like most people who experience an athletic injury, Katie initially sought conventional medical treatment.

Her treatments – both in Mexico and the United States – progressed through several stages that culminated in the complete immobilization of the joint. They also proved completely ineffective in reducing the pain she was experiencing, or getting her back out on the links!

A South African friend became aware of her situation and suggested that she consider SCENAR treatment, which he had discovered through a sports injury therapist in Johannesburg and which had provided him with complete relief from the pain of a very similar tennis elbow injury.

As a resident of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico Katie initially faced challenges even getting basic information about SCENAR – none of the doctors she contacted had ever seen a device and few were aware of the technology. But the internet immediately yielded intriguing information.

"The first thing that caught my eye was that RITM Scenar devices were certified by Health Canada.

Those certifications are hard to get, and you've really got to have strong science in order to get them."

After extensive online research – and very anxious to get back to golf! – Katie decided to take the plunge and ordered a simple RITM Scenar home-device designed to be used by individual patients.

"I was amazed. It immediately gave me relief and increased range of movement. I began to use it on friends and family who wanted to participate with me in my "new science experiment." We worked on a gentleman who had experienced a stroke and got great results. We continued to get terrific results not knowing much, and that just made me want to know more!"
